The Duce Booster Club is a non-profit organization that supports the 2nd Air Refueling Squadron military members and their families at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in central New Jersey. The fundraising from our event will be used in part to support the Duce Booster Club in their efforts of supporting and raising the morale of the servicemen and women, as well as their families.
The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001. The fundraising from our event will be used in part to support the Wounded Warrior Project in their efforts to support servicemen and women who have strived to protect and defend our country. Located in the heart of the New Jersey Pine Barrens, the Brendan T. Byrnes State Forest is a haven to beautiful pines, sandy trails, rural cabins and yurts, and fields of cranberry bogs. Our race will wind through what we believe to be the most picturesque areas of this preserved natural gem, beginning and ending at the Pakim Pond group picnic area. Directions: From the NJ Turnpike, take exit 7 and follow Route 206 south to Route 38 east, to second traffic light, then turn onto Magnolia Road (Route 644). Follow Magnolia Road until you come to the Four-Mile Circle. From the circle take Route 72 east, at mile marker 3 make a left. Follow this road around the bend, and you will see parking for Pakim Pond on your left. Additional parking will be located 1 mile farther down the road.
